Throughout my search as a photographer during these years, I have felt a strong attraction by those defined, exaggerated forms that disrupts the peacefulness of a “perfect” image; the strong contrasts that light and shadow make; the marked perspectives and also, to place those people and the small details of nature that are neglected, in our daily lives. I think all these aspects can be noticed in my photos, that’s why in many of them you will ask yourself, why is this photo especial?, precisely that, “nothing”, I try to place what is familiar and common within a especial context.

When I was 25 years older wanted to devote my life to take photos and expected to show its in galleries, museums or art books, but the real life request me pay the bills, support my family and get money to even buy films. I had to choice, so I told myself "well, I'm young, I'll postpone my desire to be an artist until becoming in a successful graphic designer and Ad photographer, and so, the bill paying will not bother me anymore", and also thought "that will be before my 40th".
When I begin as photographer, thought there was a huge conceptual -and proposal- distance between Ad photography and Fine-Art photography, but, the first is that I love and the second is my passion, how can I link both?. These 25 years as commercial photographer, has allowed me learn each day about photo practice, maturing techniques, feel the pressure and force me to create new points of view. All these experiences change my position, now I know the distance is too short, although the proposal still been different.
Never abandon that promise and share my labor time taken photos for me, not for clients, creating a varied collection that show a personal perspective about the world around me or yours, the people or the imperceptible things right next to us.
Finally the time comes and has fewer problems with my bills. The last 10 years has been dedicate more to follow my desires, but despite being
happy because my photos are in galleries, museums and art books, I'll be very pleased if you decide to hang some of them in your office or family room.
